The Effectiveness of Signages Found on the North Campus of University of Education, Winneba, Ghana

The study sought to examine the effectiveness of signages found on north campus University Education, Winneba. This was done through exploration behaviour, perspectives and experiences people under study, using questionnaire participant observation as primary tools for data collection from 100 participants. purposive sampling method adopted obtain a reliable representation population made up mainly abled students with disabilities who ply North Campus university lectures residency. revealed that 45% respondents disagreed 15% strongly disagreeing thatsignages were readable, therefore not communicating intended message. 60% agreed accessible; however, they should come an audio system braille serve persons disability. Lastly, 70% messages clear, thus no message delivered target; this due readability size fonts used. It is, therefore, recommended that;a survey be carried out capture views needs targets various campuses gain better understanding their needs. These implemented while designing subsequent signages. Additionally, coordinated way-finding systems, such pictograms audios transmit information receivers individuals, provided aid disabilities.
